Hi Everyone,
I came across my first editorial whilst browsing through my computer and thought that you maybe interested in it...
It is interesting to note that some things never change.
But I am pleased to say that Country Croquet is still around and evolving. I am also pleased to say that we are now into our eighth year thanks to our great sponsor Hunterlink and this I cannot thank them enough. Hopefully we will continue to spread the word amongst the croquet fratternity and maybe I will update this page more often.
Cheers,

Welcome to Country Croquet. This web page has been set up to promote association croquet in country NSW.
The aim is to foster inter club visits and competition, to exchange views on where croquet is going or not going as the case maybe.
There is also a need to discuss the perceived bias of holding competitions and Croquet NSW meetings within the Sydney metropolitan area to the detriment of those of us who live in the country. We were promised that at least one meeting per year would be held outside Sydney but that has not come about.
On a brighter note Gary O’Dell and myself are working on holding a 14 Point competition at Mangrove Mount Croquet Club next Easter 2005.
The bare outline is that $1000 will be offered at prize money the split of which is to be decided. However we have a suggestion that to make life interesting there will be a prize for the quickest game. We will keep you informed
Is there a need to hold a NSW Country Croquet Week? If there is sufficient support do we vary the location each year? What time of year would it be held?
These are just some ideas for discussion.
If you would like to send in articles about your own clubs activities please do so with photographs if possible they will posted on this web page. Send your articles to
At present this site will operate as a freebie but it may be that a small charge will be necessary to help defray costs for those clubs who make use of it.
